Who created the first automobile?

Karl Benz, inventor of the first practical, modern automobile. Karl Benz gets the credit for inventing the automobile because his car was practical, used a gasoline-powered internal-combustion engine and worked like modern cars do today.

How does a combustion engine work?

In a spark ignition engine, the fuel is mixed with air and then inducted into the cylinder during the intake process. After the piston compresses the fuel-air mixture, the spark ignites it, causing combustion. The expansion of the combustion gases pushes the piston during the power stroke. How does car suspension work?

There are many different types of car suspension systems for vehicle. Coils, and Leaf springs are the most common with the added Shock absorber to minimize the expansion when a wheel drops away from the vehicle ( going into a pot hole ) and lesson the impact when the wheel abruptly comes back up and beyond the normal position toward the vehicle ( hitting the opposite edge of the pot hole).
